<p>The Community team at Speckle is made up of diverse talents helping communicate the value of our product to a variety of audiences. The team is responsible for marketing, content creation, customer success, advocacy, events, and any other function supporting our bottom-up growth.</p>
<h2>Your responsibilities</h2>
<p>In this role, you support and promote Speckle to our existing and future community members. You deeply care about making the AEC industry better and always go the extra mile to raise awareness and advocate for our product.   </p>
<ul><li>You build a positive and supportive environment for our Speckle users to make their lives easier</li>
<li>You actively take part in research and identify social events and conferences, network with professionals to introduce and promote Speckle within the AEC industry</li>
<li>You create outstanding content in the form of tutorials, videos, workshops, and documentation to educate and inform how to leverage Speckle’s potential in new and creative ways</li>
<li>You regularly engage with our community and enterprise partners ensuring they are successful in using our product and create a feedback loop for our engineering teams</li>
<li>You support the various functions in which our Community team engages, from marketing initiatives to handling enterprise client’s needs</li>
</ul><h2>Your profile</h2>
<ul><li>You bring experience in a similar role focused on community growth and advocacy in the AEC industry</li>
<li>You are familiar with AEC disciplines and software and ideally have a background in engineering</li>
<li>You are a Speckle power user and know the product inside out</li>
<li>You have proven social media presence, such as our very own , LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, or other relevant social media channels</li>
<li>You are a community evangelist by heart who enjoys public speaking, networking, and building relations within the industry</li>
<li>You are tech-savvy, you understand basic code, or can even write little scripts, debug, and have an eye for detail to find any errors on our user-side</li>
<li>Willingness to travel is crucial as you might travel on a monthly basis (ideally based in Europe)</li>

<p>Speckle is growing and seeking a Lead Backend Developer to be a key contributor in bringing our SaaS offering from its adolescent stage into a mature multi-tenanted application.</p>

<h2>Your responsibilities</h2>
<p>In this role, you will play a pivotal role ​to grow our SaaS offering from its adolescent stage into a more mature multi-tenanted application.   </p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:  </p>
<ul><li>Lead the technical implementation of Speckle’s first step towards a multi-tenant application</li>
<li>Take ownership of the technical architecture and design decisions for our multi-tenant SaaS platform</li>
<li>Mentor and guide team members, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to foster their professional growth and development</li>
<li>Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript</li>
<li>Ensure the seamless integration of our platform with various third-party services and APIs</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with our product manager, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with the overall product vision.</li>
<li>Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the team</li>
</ul><h2>Your profile</h2>
<ul><li>Proven track record of leading and mentoring software engineering teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL and a passion for SQL</li>
<li>Proven experience of integrating OAuth2, SAML, OpenID and other authentication protocols</li>
<li>Experience with scalable backend architectures, REST and GraphQL API development</li>
<li>A great deal of experience working on a multi-tenant SaaS product</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.</li>
