<p>We are a growing team overseeing the Financial data for the Lovehoney Group, ensuring the accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts for presentation to the Board. The mission of Internal Audit is to enhance and protect Trade Republic’s value and success by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management and the control environment within all business teams and functions. We report directly to the Management Body of Trade Republic.</p>
<h2>WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING</h2>
<ul><li>You will be part of our Internal Audit Team and gain insight into the entire value chain of Trade Republic</li>
<li>You will play a key role in developing work programs, audit planning and reporting of audit findings for Trade Republic management, and develop suitable actions/recommendations to findings identified</li>
<li>You will follow up of findings raised in previous audits or by external/regulatory auditors to assess whether these have been successfully remediated</li>
<li>You will bridge the gap between regulatory and supervisory obligations, and internal processes</li>

<ul><li>A minimum of 3 years of experience in audit gained at an accounting firm or in a banking environment</li>
<li>Structured and independent way of working, a very good understanding of IT as well as processes and expertise in process evaluation and description while thinking out of the box</li>
<li>Problem-solving and driving change by using innovative solutions is as natural to you as paying attention to every detail</li>
<li>Ability and curiosity to work in an agile, fast-changing Tech company with a diverse and dynamic team setup and state-of-the-art communication tools</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English</li>

<h2>WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING</h2>
<ul><li>Work closely with our Head of Legal on various projects and take the lead on all commercial law questions within the organization</li>
<li>Support our rapid growth and internationalization by finding tailor made solutions which will not cause delay but promote our mission</li>
<li>Proactively look out for ways to improve commercial agreements but also advise on best practises how to “live” those post conclusion</li>
<li>Liaise with external law firms on legal issues related to commercial law and our internationalization</li>
<li>Work with the entire legal team on other “allrounder” topics as they emerge</li>
</ul><h2>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</h2>
<ul><li>You are a German fully qualified lawyer and have completed the first and second state law examinations with above-average results</li>
<li>You already have at least 3+ years professional commercial law experience in a renowned law firm and/or in an international company</li>
<li>You are an expert in Commercial law and bring expertise in financial markets and products to the table</li>
<li>Problem-solving and driving change by using innovative solutions is for you a matter of course</li>
<li>You are a true star when it comes to stakeholder management</li>
<li>Very good written and spoken German and English, other languages are an advantage</li>
<li>Experience with IP/IT and unfair competition law would be a plus</li>
<li>Experience in advising high-growth, VC-backed start-up/scale-up companies would be a plus</li>
