<p>Speckle is growing and seeking a Lead Backend Developer to be a key contributor in bringing our SaaS offering from its adolescent stage into a mature multi-tenanted application.</p>

<h2>Your responsibilities</h2>
<p>In this role, you will play a pivotal role ​to grow our SaaS offering from its adolescent stage into a more mature multi-tenanted application.   </p>
<p>Key Responsibilities:  </p>
<ul><li>Lead the technical implementation of Speckle’s first step towards a multi-tenant application</li>
<li>Take ownership of the technical architecture and design decisions for our multi-tenant SaaS platform</li>
<li>Mentor and guide team members, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support to foster their professional growth and development</li>
<li>Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript</li>
<li>Ensure the seamless integration of our platform with various third-party services and APIs</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with our product manager, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with the overall product vision.</li>
<li>Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence within the team</li>
</ul><h2>Your profile</h2>
<ul><li>Proven track record of leading and mentoring software engineering teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL and a passion for SQL</li>
<li>Proven experience of integrating OAuth2, SAML, OpenID and other authentication protocols</li>
<li>Experience with scalable backend architectures, REST and GraphQL API development</li>
<li>A great deal of experience working on a multi-tenant SaaS product</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Passion for the AEC industry and a desire to revolutionize the way professionals collaborate and exchange data  
<ul><li>Ideally, you also bring:  </li>
<li>Experience with cloud-based platforms (such as Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)  </li>
<li>Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Vue or React</li>
